Timesheets & Approval
How is working time recorded against actual tasks and approved by managers?
The weekly timesheet records time in lines that can point at real tasks, carrying percent-complete alongside hours. Managers review and approve submitted sheets from a dedicated approval view filtered by employee and date range.
How it works
Timesheet entry is week-based, with navigation backward through prior weeks. A line is more than hours: it can reference a specific task and record the task’s percent complete, so recorded time doubles as progress reporting on the work itself. Entries can also be made against partner-related work by selecting the partner and its tasks.
Approval is a manager action on the sheet: the approval view loads timesheets by employee and date range, and the manager approves the listed lines. Because the same timesheet surfaces exist across continON’s work-management screens, employees record time where they work rather than in a separate system, and the record is one.
What it records
Task-linked lines
A timesheet line can reference an assigned task and carry its percent complete, joining time and progress.
Weekly entry, historical navigation
Sheets are entered per week with weeks-back navigation for corrections and review.
Manager approval view
Managers load sheets by employee and date range and approve the lines in one action.
One record across modules
The same timesheet is reachable from work-management surfaces, so time is recorded once.
