People & Work

My continON

My continON is the workspace every employee lands in: check in and out, see today’s schedule and appointments, work assigned tasks, submit requests that run on real workflows, read personal and shared documents, and view pay information. It is the same platform the back office uses, scoped to one person’s working day.

The operating model

Self-service usually means a portal bolted onto the HR system, with its own copies of data. My continON is not a copy: the schedule an employee sees is the published roster, the tasks are the same work orders managers assign, the requests run on the platform’s process engine, and the documents come from the shared document store with the employee’s own permissions applied. One sign-in, one set of records, one working surface.

The workspace covers the day end to end. The home tab carries check-in and check-out, dashboards, an appointments carousel, and company regulations. Tasks and project work sit beside requests — leave among them — that move through configured approval workflows. Personal and shared document folders, a PIN-protected personal e-signature, withholding elections, and a read-only view of payroll results complete the picture. A new employee’s first sign-in can launch the organization’s onboarding workflow automatically.

Because it is a licensed module with its own permission claim, organizations roll self-service out deliberately: who sees pay data, who can book appointments with partners, and which requests are available are all configuration on the same access model the rest of continON uses.

The signed-in employee

One signed-in workspace

  • My schedule
  • My requests
  • My tasks
  • My documents
  • My pay
  1. Sign in once

One continON ID opens the workspace; a pending onboarding or post-login workflow launches automatically if configured.

  2. Check in

The day starts with a browser check-in — optionally directly against an assigned task.

  3. Work the list

Assigned tasks and project work are visible with their statuses; time records against real tasks.

  4. Submit a request

A leave or business request is submitted and moves through its configured approval workflow.

  5. Manager decides

Approvals happen in HCM — for leave, on the request and on each individual day.

  6. See the result

Approved schedule changes and, after payroll approval, pay results appear in the employee’s own views.
