Repository & Folders
How are documents organized so people find them by structure, not by memory?
The repository is a hierarchical folder tree per organization: built-in folders the platform maintains for standard areas, shared folders teams create, and personal folders per user. Reusable template documents are filed by category alongside the working files.

How it works
Folders nest to whatever depth the organization needs, and the tree is navigated as a tree — with name filtering to narrow a large branch — rather than as a flat search box over chaos. The platform creates built-in folders for its standard areas, teams add shared structure of their own, and each user has a personal folder space.
Files carry their metadata from the moment of upload: type, size, and image dimensions where relevant, plus the category they are filed under — categories drawn from the platform’s shared lookup taxonomy, so document classification matches the rest of the organization’s reference data.
Recurring paperwork starts from an approved base. Standard documents are saved as templates and organized into template categories, so the letter or form a team reaches for is the sanctioned version, not the nearest old copy. Storage itself sits inside the platform’s database layer rather than on exposed network shares.
