Contracted Sales

How do you sell against a contract — agreed articles, quantities, and remaining drawdown?

A contracted sale is a sale bound to a partner contract: the lines come from the contract’s agreed articles, and each sale draws down the remaining quantity on the contract. Corrections restore the balance, so the drawdown stays accurate through edits.

How it works

Selecting the buyer surfaces that partner’s contracts, and selecting the contract loads its articles — each with the contracted quantity, the quantity in contract, the remaining quantity, and a flexible-price flag that marks whether the agreed price may be adjusted on the sale. Current stock and reserved stock for each contract article are shown alongside, so the seller sees deliverability at the moment of call-off.

When a contracted sale is saved, the sold quantities are subtracted from the contract articles’ remaining quantities; when a sale line is edited, the balance is recalculated from the difference rather than reset. Contracted sales carry the same commercial machinery as ordinary sales — currency with exchange rate, warehouse, and detail lines — and are listed in their own register.
