Getting Started

A new organization does not start in a blank system. continON records a per-organization, per-module setup checklist and routes incomplete setups toward it after sign-in, while license activation, the enterprise profile, and organization modeling each have their own real screens in administration.

Implementation is a sequence, not a switch. Before daily work can run, an organization activates its license, publishes and gathers acceptance of its disclaimer, chooses its languages, records its profile and business hours, and models its units, positions, and people. Each of those steps is a real screen — most of them in System Administration, the organization model, and HCM.

What Getting Started adds is the thread through them. The platform stores setup progress per organization, per module, and per step, and checks it after sign-in — an organization that has not finished setting up is routed toward setup rather than dropped into a half-configured workspace. First-run wizard variants of configuration screens, such as the organization chart, support building initial structure step by step.

continON does not promise implementation in hours, because that is not how the product works: activating additional modules is a request-and-provision step, and modeling a real organization takes real decisions. What the platform does provide is a defined order, a recorded checklist, and configuration screens that already exist for each step of it.

  1. Activate

Upload the encrypted license; it is validated in place and the licensed modules unlock.

  2. Accept & localize

The disclaimer is accepted — and recorded — and the organization’s working languages are registered.

  3. Profile the enterprise

Name, logo, business hours, default currency and language are entered on the organization profile.

  4. Model & staff

Units, positions, and employees are built — with wizard-mode screens for first-run structure.

  5. Track to done

The per-module checklist records progress; sign-in routes back to setup until the organization is ready for daily use.
